Northwoods Makes Sense of Dark Data with AWS
Northwoods has increased their agility and is able to release new software solutions quickly after migrating to Amazon Web Services. Founded in 2003, Northwoods makes software solutions for social services programs, such as Traverse, a tool that automatically analyzes information collected by social workers with no additional work required, effectively uncovering dark data. Northwoods uses Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) to power Traverse.
